Love uprightness you who are rulers on earth, be properly disposed towards the Lord and seek him in simplicity of heart;for he will be found by those who do not put him to the test, revealing himself to those who do not mistrust him.Perverse thoughts, however, separate people from God, and power, when put to the test, confounds the stupid. Wisdom will never enter the soul of a wrong-doer, nor dwell in a body enslaved to sin; for the holy spirit of instruction flees deceitfulness, recoils from unintelligent thoughts, is thwarted by the onset of vice.

Many people often wonder why Christians are commanded to be violent when it comes to the issue of running the Christian race and getting to heaven. You may ask, “Why is violence involved in seeking the Kingdom of God? It is because of the nature of the Kingdom. It is a powerful Kingdom filled with peace, joy, wonder and glorious majesty.

'Come near to God and He will come near to you...' James 4:8 

Once you become self-controlled, alert, and submitted to God, your next step must be to: 'Resist the devil...he will flee from you.' When you are properly aligned with Jesus, His power and authority are behind you and at your disposal. Then when you act or speak you do so, not on your own, but as His representative.

If the Lord Jesus Christ could still commission Peter to continue from where He stopped, after three terrible denials, no matter how low you have fallen, God can return you to His original plan for your life and use you. So Strengthen your faith.

To get the best from God, you need to know when to make your requests. When you have the opportunity to access God's mighty presence, explore it to the fullest. A wise believer will optimise every opportunity from God because time is short. So is there anything you have been leaving undone Today is the day you need to start making a change.

If you are doing anything for God, you must be in a hurry, because if you are too slow, your sacrifice, obedience or gift might become irrelevant or unacceptable in His sight. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Whatsoever
thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might: for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” Work when you can because a day is coming when you will be unable to perform the same work here on earth.

In 1 Kings 19:4-8, when Elijah was so discouraged, he asked God for death but God gave him food. God knows your need. Sometimes, one can be so confused to the point of asking amiss; if you are in that situation, instead of your wrong request, God will give you what you did not ask for that will meet with your need. Psalm 118:17 says,

For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. ( Psalm 71.15), why wont i serve you ( whats my excuse ). Father, i know i am created to serve you and that is what i will do. ( Serve you ).
