Problems are forerunners of miracles. When you have a problem, if you are a true child of God, it means that a testimony is on the way. If there are no problems, how will you ever have a testimony? Psalm 4:8 says, “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.” Who can make you dwell in safety? Not the police nor night guards. It is only God. 

It is one thing to spend time in prayer and another thing to receive the approval of heaven in one’s requests. Effective praying requires conformity with Bible methods.

Psalms 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and truly you shall be fed.
Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
Proverbs 14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
Proverbs 16:20 He that handles a matter wisely shall find good: and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
